With a single IDU supporting one or two ODUs, PhoeniX G2 enables flexible deployment options including 1+0, 2+0 with Layer 1 aggregation, and 1+1 link protection in HSB, FD, or SD modes, as well as 2+0 XPIC configuration. For ultra-reliable link requirements, PhoeniX G2 offers Full Redundancy with a dual IDU setup, supporting 1+1 and 2+2 configurations - ensuring redundancy across all active components for maximum link availability.

The flexible TDM/IP architecture of the PhoeniX Series enables a seamless transition from TDM-only to hybrid or full IP networks, all within a single, highly configurable device. With optional expansion modules, it supports up to 64×E1 or 16×ASI streams, and includes built-in STM-1/OC-3 support for enhanced scalability and integration.

The built-in managed Gigabit Ethernet switch supports QoS, VLANs with QinQ, transparent IEEE 1588v2, and AES-256 over-the-air encryption, along with other essential features - enabling the setup and maintenance of highly customized end-user connectivity services.
