High-Performance RF Design with DPD Technology

The next-generation radio frequency architecture incorporates Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) technology, maximizing transmission efficiency and power output. This ensures superior signal quality, extended link distances, and optimal system gain, even in demanding environments.

Enhanced Modulation and Bandwidth Capabilities

Supporting modulation rates up to 4096QAM, the ODU Mk3 achieves exceptional spectral efficiency and high data throughput. The unit provides flexible channel bandwidth options from 1.75 up to 112 MHz, empowering users to optimize network performance while reducing infrastructure costs.

Optimized for Maximum Transmission Power

Designed with high transmission power, the ODU Mk3 allows for improved system gain, enabling the use of smaller antennas while maintaining long-range connectivity. It is available in both High Power (HP) and Very High Power (VHP) versions, catering to a variety of deployment scenarios.

The PhoeniX ODU Mk3 is designed for seamless compatibility with all SAF Tehnika PhoeniX Series IDUs and can be integrated with third-party split-mount systems. Key specifications include:

  • With Standard Phoenix G2/G2+ IDU: 3.5–80 MHz
  • With Advanced Phoenix G2/G2+ IDU: 1.75–112 MHz

Max. Modulation with Phoenix G2/G2+ IDU:

  • 60 MHz: 2048QAM
  • 80 MHz: 1024QAM
  • 100/112 MHz: 256QAM

ODU Mk3 Maximum Capability:

  • 4096QAM

The unit operates within the licensed microwave frequency bands from 4 to 38GHz and is equipped with SAF2 antenna interface option that enables direct connection to SAF adapted antenna. Alternatively, a remote mount bracket and waveguide can be used to connect to an antenna ensuring compatibility with various installation requirements.
