In April 2025, Joint Stock Company SAF Tehnika commenced the implementation of a new investment project aimed at automating manual processes and reducing risks and challenges associated with production post-processing. The project is carried out within the framework of the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility.
The aimed result of the project is to introduce a comprehensive digital transformation solution for the production of product components. The solution comprises two key elements: a 3D printer with dedicated software and a component post-processing machine with accompanying software.
The deployment of this technology will enable SAF Tehnika to reach the aims of the project:
- Ensure fully automated production and post-processing in line with the company’s technical requirements and complexity, including automated preparation processes.
- Provide automated control and monitoring of production and post-processing activities.
- Establish a convenient, fast, and efficient database for product parameter files with advanced management functionality.
- Significantly reduce the need for manual labor and direct exposure to chemical substances, as well as risks of human factor in manual labor.
The project is co-financed by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Facility in the amount of EUR 17 000 in accordance with Agreement No. 9.2-17-L-2025/798 concluded between SAF Tehnika and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).

SAF Tehnika uzsāk jaunu ražošanas digitalizācijas projektu
2025. gada aprīlī akciju sabiedrība SAF Tehnika ir uzsākusi jauna investīciju projekta īstenošanu, kura mērķis ir automatizēt manuālos ražošanas procesus un mazināt ar ražošanas pēcapstrādi saistītos riskus un izaicinājumus. Projekts tiek īstenots Eiropas Savienības Atveseļošanas fonda ietvaros.
Projekta sasniedzamais rezultāts ir ieviest kompleksu digitālās transformācijas risinājumu produktu detaļu ražošanas nodrošināšanai. Risinājums sastāv no divām galvenajām komponentēm: 3D printera ar specializētu programmatūru un detaļu pēcapstrādes iekārtas ar atbilstošu programmatūru.
Šīs tehnoloģijas ieviešana ļaus sasniegt projekta izvirzītos mērķus un SAF Tehnika veikt šādas darbības:
- Nodrošināt pilnībā automatizētu ražošanas un pēcapstrādes procesu izpildi atbilstoši uzņēmuma tehniskajām prasībām un sarežģītībai, tostarp automatizējot sagatavošanas posmus;
- Īstenot automatizētu ražošanas un pēcapstrādes procesu kontroli un uzraudzību;
- Izveidot ērtu, ātru un efektīvu produktu parametru failu datubāzi ar paplašinātām pārvaldības iespējām;
- Būtiski samazināt nepieciešamību pēc manuālā darba un tiešas saskares ar ķīmiskām vielām, un samazināt manuālā darba radītos cilvēkfaktora riskus.
Projekts tiek līdzfinansēts no Eiropas Savienības Atveseļošanas un noturības mehānisma līdzekļiem 17 000 EUR apmērā, pamatojoties uz līgumu Nr. 9.2-17-L-2025/798, kas noslēgts starp SAF Tehnika un Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūru (LIAA).
