SAF Tehnika recently had the honor of welcoming a delegation of Japanese media representatives to its headquarters in Riga, Latvia. The visit, organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA), reflected growing international interest in Latvian-made wireless technologies and showcased SAF Tehnika’s innovative approach to engineering and manufacturing.
During the visit, guests learned about the company’s 25+ years of expertise in wireless data transmission and environmental monitoring. SAF Tehnika presented its three main product lines — Microwave Radio, Test and Measurement, and the Internet of Things (IoT) solutions under the Aranet brand.
Special attention was given to Aranet, SAF Tehnika’s globally recognized wireless environmental monitoring ecosystem. Aranet solutions support professionals across HVAC, indoor air quality, horticulture, and building management, enabling precise, data-driven control of climate and resource efficiency. With over 300,000 devices shipped to more than 88 countries, Aranet continues to expand its reach, including a growing presence in the Japanese market.
The visit underlined the shared values between Japan and Latvia — precision, innovation, and long-term vision. SAF Tehnika’s in-house R&D, design, and manufacturing capabilities align closely with Japan’s culture of quality and technical excellence, creating a strong foundation for future collaboration.
